Ancient Indian Empirical Sciences
The name of the book Ancient Indian Empirical Sciences imply that the knowledge described is of a period much earlier than even the 12th century A.D. and Indian means geographical limits of that portion of the earth where scientific volumes were being written in Sanskrit and which scientific culture is considered as its ownheritage. Aim of this book is just to indicate how much scientific knowledge was obtained by our forefathers and what a vast treasure-trove of reference literature is available. This small effort to present in some form, the same heritage-but of normal life-achieved with physical sciences-is made here. May this effort be liked by the readers and awaken their interest in this subject-is the only success desired.
